- Erik Ose has lived in North Carolina since 1989. His short stories have been published in magazines like Trix Zine, The Blotter, and the News & Observer's Sunday Reader. His columns have appeared in North Carolina newspapers such as the Independent Weekly, and elsewhere including The Hill, Salon.com, and the Huffington Post. They are collected on the political blog The Latest Outrage. He is working on a young adult novel. More of his short stories can be found on the blog Reality Fiction. Ose is the former owner of Lost City, a Chapel Hill music & video store, and a veteran community organizer. He lives in Chapel Hill with a four-legged herd.
