Erik Ose has lived in North Carolina since 1989. His short stories have been published in magazines like Trix Zine, The Blotter, and the News & Observer's Sunday Reader. His columns have appeared in North Carolina newspapers such as the Independent Weekly, and elsewhere including The Hill, Salon.com, and the Huffington Post.
